Paddle tennis courts are more than 80% of the time installed outdoors. The components of the paddle tennis courts (metal structure, artificial grass, tempered glass, lights, etc…) must be materials resistant to external agents (ultraviolet light, salinity of the environment, wind force, cold and heat, etc…). Therefore, if you spare the quality of these components, it is most likely that in a few months the problems derived from being outdoors will start to emerge.
The typical problems derived from being outdoors are
These problems, over time, lead to even greater problems such as glass breakage and possible collapse of the metal structure (in addition to the poor image or aesthetics of the paddle tennis court).
In addition to the quality of the materials, the correct installation of the materials and the design of the metal structure is very important. In other words, if the metal structure is manufactured in a non-robotic way, it is usual to have human failure that results in having to make cuts, drill holes and modifications on site. These actions lead to an acceleration in the presence of the problems explained above.
Taking into account all these problems, Sky Padel has developed and manufactures tracks designed in 3D (which ensure the perfect assembly of all the metal components), manufactured in a semi-robotic way (avoiding human error in manufacturing) which results in a fast installation without error correction actions.
Similarly, the steel used is galvanised and then oven-painted (in the RAL colour chosen by the customer), guaranteeing great anti-rust protection. All the screws are made of stainless steel (both the metal structures and the glass fixings) and the materials (artificial grass, LED spotlights, etc…) are CE certified and have UV and IP65 protection.
Therefore, the Sky Padel slopes guarantee great durability and aesthetics for many years, as well as the safety offered by the calculation of structures with respect to wind resistance and the slope foundations.
